Got my 1st jacket/ shirt? Now I’m hooked. lol. Question about authenticity.

Got my 1st jacket/ shirt? Now I’m hooked. lol. Question about authenticity.

Never been a fan because of the reputation but I was in the market for a summer/ lightweight jacket and ended up picking up a Stoney.

Didnt realise it was an overshirt, felt more like a jacket to me.

Anyway.

I’ve ordered some shorts and also want a hooded jacket where the hood rolls into the neck. I can’t seem to find a design i like yet.

Ideally a lighter colour blue/ cream.
My question is about authenticity - is scanning the QR enough or are there certain things to look out for?
Can the QR codes be faked?

The jacket was from Flannels and the Certilogo is all good
The shorts are via eBay with their authenticity programme.

Thinking of converting from wholesale to PL in the UK

Are there many PL people in here from the UK?

I’m thinking of moving from wholesale. It’s gonna be hard to beat last month but the profit doesn’t seem worth it.

£40k in sales and about £5k profit after fees, subscriptions.

Then corp tax and VAT.

What material do you recommend for someone wanting to go PL?

Any groups to join?

Linking eBay to Amazon store (MCF)

Has anyone successfully linked their eBay to Amazon?

Looking to list all my FBA items on eBay so whenever I get a sale, it sends from my Amazon inventory to the customer via MCF.

I’ve added a couple on listings manually and will complete a MCF request when I get a sale but it’s difficult to track inventory levels between to 2 and involves constant adjustments.

Has anyone successfully implemented this?
What software do you use?

Thanks!

Has anyone dealt with multiple customer authenticity complaints before?

Hi all.

I’m an established wholesale seller with good account health. I have account assurance. Maintained +250 account health for some time now.
Sometimes I do RA and OA to top up my stock.

My genuine wholesaler sold hair conditioners that I bought a bunch off. They averaged £3 a unit.

There is an ASIN for a 2-pack shampoo and conditioner.
They sell for like £24.99.

I managed to find the accompanying shampoo from Ocado (like a grocery store) for £6.

I paired these up and sold under the 2-pack.

The only difference was that my wholesale was the ‘older’ packaging version and the store bought shampoo was a newer design.

So we had a newer design shampoo pared with and older design conditioner.

Exactly correct product same EAN number. Just packaging change.

The ASIN has pictures of both as the old design.

Today I was hit with a customer authenticity complaint and Amazon wouldn’t accept the retail receipt (my bad I know). So I was forced to accept the complaint and close the listing.

Fair enough I suppose.
Retail receipts aren’t accepted I know that. So I hold my hands up.
The items were definitely not fake though.

Now I’ve accepted the complaint, the notification had gone from my account health section and all seems to be back as normal.

My question is -

Was this likely a slap on the wrist/ did I get let off lucky?

I’ve heard things like this often result in immediate suspension and account closure?

If this happens again will I face more severe punishments?

I fear that if someone questions several of my OA or RA items, I’m screwed. I have a bunch of toys I’ve got from B&M from a RA lead and am shitting myself if anything like this gets questioned.

Will it be the same next time? ASIN shut down?

Or more severe?

I’m thinking of sacking off RA altogether now after this incident.

Just want to hear if anyone has had several complaints and survived or is it a 1-strike warning only?

Genuinely considering removing all my RA stock at this point.

Tah!
