Ive been fallowing this series posted by magnetic norse on tik tok where hes been investigating the flock cameras, i posted a few links to some of the earlier videos as ive also been wanting to spread awareness about what is truly going on with the flock cameras, i also posted a screenshot of how many flock cameras are around kalamazoo, really wild to see just how many… (its a lot)

I want to add one of the most important things he highlights in his video and its the terms that flock has in regards to the data (screenshot above) “irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license” to all flock data
These terms have been changed within the last year… from “flock does not own and shall not sell customer data” which has been deleted from their terms of service.
Please help keep your friends and family informed
Posted a few weeks ago a picture of the flock camera website showing location of many of these cameras, they are everywhere and many people dont know too much about them, i wanted to spread this video of a local resident trying to get information/logs from the “public” cameras via FOIA i just wanted to share these videos to keep others informed about these cameras and kalamazoos responses about them including from the mayor of kalamazoo

Feel how you do about the flock cameras but either way many of the situations these cameras create can be terrifying to consider
I forgot to grab a ss of the map when it happened but i was so confused to see a wild shadow spawn, I am currently working on grinding candy with a shadow trapinch, i accidentally tapped what i thought was my buddy on the map while trying to tap the mon next to it only for it to be a wild spawn, of course after catching it i understand but it made for an interesting surprise 🤣 too bad its not a shundo
I stopped playing around when sw/sh/legends arecus came out for switch as i was moving lots of mons around for breeding in games and was doing all sorts of stuff, i took a break and have been getting back into it this summer, ive seen the power spots around and have been trying to build up a good mix of dynamax pokemon as im usually taking these on in rather small groups or solo, however im running into a few issues, id love an eli5 lol
my biggest issue/frustration is from what i can tell the bosses change and theirs no connection between the visible number countdown and when the bosses change and they do so on a somewhat set time (~3 hours)
my issue is i dont see that to be the case, i work in a spot that regularly has 3-4 power spots and what i often notice is ill check them and they will all have the same “1 star or easy to takedown” mon in them but that does not match up with what i see if i open the campfire thing which is often a 2-3 star mon (which i will say campfire is also new since ive come back, its a nice addition but doesnt seem accurate)
Now to confuse me even further, very rarely ill refresh or open the app for the first time in a while and i will actually see the “proper” pokemon in the power spot like actually what campfire says is supposed to be there, but, if i do anything other than click on the power spot, (catch a mon, open bag, pokestop anything) it will revert all nearby power spots to the same 1 star mon (today its hoothoot) im so confused lol any info would be appreciated!!
Was curios to see how many of these cameras are setup in our area, well over 100….
