I can’t tell if I need to wait to trim

I have a fine, wavy hair texture and am doing my best to grow it out. But I can’t tell if I need to wait to get a trim or if I truly have some breakage. Can anyone help? 😖 (Sorry if the pictures aren’t the best quality)

I can’t tell if I need a trim

My hair is very fine with a dry texture, I can’t tell if I genuinely need a trim or if I’m just reading into my frizzy sparse texture, can anyone help? 😖 (Sorry if pictures are not best quality 😿
