Exporing low libido in women and dismissal (Women 18+, 5 min)

Hi! I'm a 40F founder researching low sexual desire in women — specifically the experience of having it dismissed by doctors as "just stress" or "part of aging." I went through this myself and I'm building a product in this space, so full disclosure: this is customer discovery, not academic research.

Who I'm looking for: Women 30–55 (all responses welcome, but this is my target group — there's a screening question at the start).

About the survey: ~5 minutes, completely anonymous — no email, no login, no tracking. Responses are used only to understand the problem; nothing is sold and no one will be contacted.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments, and I'll return the favor on your surveys!

Ladies - What's actually behind low libido? (spoiler: it's never just one thing)

I am a women who has suffered with low libido for some time. Low desire in women gets talked about like it's one problem with one fix — but from what I've learned digging into this (research, conversations with women, and talking to actual specialists — endocrinologists, OB-GYNs, psychologists), it's almost never that simple. A few of the real, distinct drivers:

Hormones — not just menopause. Postpartum, thyroid, birth control mess with this too.

Meds — SSRIs kill desire way more than anyone talks about.

Mental load — if your brain never stops running, good luck wanting anything.

Relationship stuff — even a good relationship can quietly lose the spark once the novelty wears off.

Body safety — past stuff can make your body just... not feel safe enough to want anything, even with someone you love.

I've been digging into this for a while now, and step one is actually hearing from women directly — not doctors, not "experts." I put together a short, anonymous survey (~5 min, no login, completely anonymous) to start figuring out what's really going on and what would actually help.

If you want in, just comment below and I'll send you the link.

I'm Paola. I spent the last 5 years in women's health biotech and I'm now focused on something I kept seeing go unaddressed: low libido in women — why it happens, why it gets dismissed, and what women actually need.

I'm in the listening phase. No selling, no agenda.

If you've experienced this — the frustration, the dead ends, the feeling that no one takes it seriously — I'd love to hear your story in a private 30-min conversation. $40 Amazon gift card as a thank-you.

DM me, comment below, or fill out this form and I'll reach out.
