Hi, we are dealing with a situation right now due to a person that was acting as a mortgage broker in Manitoba. I have been advised that there are numerous other clients who faced:

- this advisor churning mortgages for commission

- having clients sign over title on homes they didn’t own (like their parents homes) to invest the money earning the advisor a commission

- took advantage of ESL individuals

I would like to hear from anyone who has experienced this and how they dealt with it.
