What happened to Oxio?
I’ve had Oxio since 2022. Most issues have been because of Rogers having problems, otherwise it’s been mostly good.
I requested a new modem because my old one would routinely lose power and I’d need to leave it unplugged for a while.
It arrived, and I spent over an hour waiting for a text message. I don’t mind text only support but the support has definitely dwindled.
The new one worked for a little bit, however it seems to have lost connection overnight. All the lights are green, the router is white (meaning connected) yet there is no service whatsoever.
Today, Sunday, tech support opened at 8am. I sent in a text ticket at 801. I’ve yet to hear anything back and I’ve been waiting with the online chat for almost 40 minutes now.
Oxio used to be good. No clue what happened and why their equipment sucks and the support has declined.
I’m going to have them reactivate my old modem and return this one, and set up Rogers after the holiday.
Very unfortunate.
