الدستور الجزائري

We need to clear this up once and for all.

Everybody knows المادة 2 but unfortunately, nobody seems to ask what does it mean, and also why is it the second one not the first one ?

What it actually means :

Basically, it says that Islam is the religion of the nation, I don't know if it's translated right but you get it. The idea is that Algeria sees Islam as the main religion due to historical, traditional and cultural links with the majority of Algerians, it's like a special traitement. But that's it. It doesn't mean we should do everything Islam says or don't do everything Islam prohibited.

It doesn't mean that if a law is in this religion, that's enough to put it as a law for the country, it doesn't work like that.

It doesn't mean Islam prohibited few stuff, then the country also has to do so.

There's a difference between الإسلام دين الدولة and الجزائر دولة اسلامية.

Why it's the second one :

Basically the first one means that anything decided in this country is decided by the people itself. Meaning, from 1963 till 2020, laws have been changing, but they were always created by the people, changed by the people and maintained by the people.

Don't be surprised to see that in our country, when someone dies, properties are passed to children, wife or others according to Islam, but also in this same country we have over a 100 alcohol factories. So be sure that each and every law are made by people, wether you like it or not.

There are many laws brought from Islam, but most of them have nothing to do with it.

I can give so many examples in many different topics but you clearly get the idea, and you can search about it if you're not completely satisfied.

If there's any further explanation or debatable idea, I'm happy to learn new things.

Algerians and money

The source is in the attached image itself.

We all can agree that money was always an issue for human beings, but let's see what it looks like here in our "beloved" country Algeria.

I saw someone talking about a very interesting approach by Dr Brad Klontz, he's a financial psychologist, I didn't even know that existed. Basically he says that the way we see money is almost always inhereted, not learned. And he divided all of this into four types, called "money script". The necessary infos are in the picture.

Let's see how they fit into our society language :
- Money avoidance : "hedou li derou l3at kemel derouh hram"
- Money worship : "fi dz ki ykounou 3ndek drahem mecheklek kemel yet7elou"
- Money status : "3endek y9adrouk, me3endekch ye3fsou 3lik"
- Money vigilance : "khebi lezmen 39ouba"

I'm pretty sure after reading this, you can identify which script you inhereted from your parents, social cercle or environement.

I don't like to make really long posts, I prefer to discuss with interested individuals in the comment. So let's hear it.

PS: au moins nesfedou chui, khir men lkhorti te3 rouji w li lebsa lwardi...

From around 6 children per woman in the 60s, to 2.7 now. What changed ?

Ps : these numbers can be found in the website visualcapitalist.

The evolution of the birth rate tells you a lot about a country. For contexte, the replacement rate is 2.1 children per woman.

There are many reasons which can explain this big drop, but I'm interested to see your pov about the subject because nobody seems to pay attention to this number among all other numbers.
