Advice needed for my plan to end up in hauling hazmat tanker.

I'm located between Ft. Smith and Little Rock Arkansas.

I'm currently driving concrete trucks (Class B) for an otr construction crew. When the season ends I'm planning on going to a mega for Class A experience.

My end goal is to hopefully find a local or regional gig hauling hazmat tanker.

I know Schneider and Prime have tanker divisions. But I'm not sure if they have anything near my area. I also hear that they're less forgiving of beginner fuck ups than Swift.

Any advice on how to achieve my goal?

OTRs and Regionals what's in your truck?

I'm currently working OTR construction and will be making the switch to a mega after the fall when my trade starts seasonal layoffs.

I'm trying to get an idea of what I'll need to be out on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Would some of you mind dropping an inventory list?

How much clothes do you bring? What clothes do you bring? How often do you do laundry?

What tools do you need/use most often?

What small parts besides bulbs, fuses, and glad seals should I keep handy? Can I get these for free at the company shop?

What do you keep on hand to keep your truck clean and tidy?

For those of you that cook what items do you take with you? What's your dishwashing set up like?

Also how do you organize your things? Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.

Thanks from a future newbie.

Which megas are known for the best training?

I've been an otr driver/operator for construction for a year. I'm class A but they've got me running class B's.

I'm looking to switch to otr in hopes to get a regional or local gig in the future.

So which megas are known for having the best trainer/training?
