Hey, Im from the 03/26 PTP batch, this week we are doing our handgrande followed by our btp next week and ippt the week after btp before field camp the following week. I heard out admin time is gna get ripped off these whole month cuz of the back to back highkeys, can i get a rough idea on hows training for HG and BTP gonna be like? Like what do we do to train for hg and btp how many days does it take to train for these highkeys? Whats training gonna be like? What are the things we do?

Hey, got some questions about EWOS

My highest level of education is GCE N(A) Levels so i could only go EWOS, im currently in BMT going to pop is september i want to sign on their 2 years EWOS contract can i know how does it work? Like since im a rec will the contract start after bmt or right away or after i ord? So lets say i get accepted for their 2 years contract since im already 2 months in (im from ptp) will my whole ns duration be 2 years 2 months? Like in breif if i apply for contract now when will i go back to being a civilian?

Hi All, currently in BMT and gonna pop in September 2026, i just want to ask on what are the ways i could be a sergeant without going command school also, is there a way i could go command school without a pass in ippt? My ippt is damn rabak confirm can’t make it but i really want to be a sergeant.

I’m currently in BMT and I’m in a bit of a tight situation and need some advice.

I have a very important family prayer event in Malaysia this weekend, and I will be booking out and heading there. The issue is that I can only return to Singapore on Sunday night, but my book-in timing is also on Sunday night.

On top of that, I have IPPT on Tuesday, and I understand that if I don’t book in on time, it may affect attendance / be considered AWOL depending on the situation.

I’ve been trying to figure out my options, but I’m a bit confused about what’s the correct way to handle this in SAF:

Should I try to request a late book-in or special arrangement with my commanders?

Is MC the only valid way to cover this if I really cannot make it in time?

I’ve heard MC must cover until the next booking-in timing and be properly submitted, but I’m not sure how strict this is in BMT.

I don’t want to do anything wrong or get into trouble, especially with IPPT coming up.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows what the proper procedure is? I just want to handle this correctly without getting myself into trouble.

Enlisted in May for PTP BMT, POP is September, do anyone have any rough idea on which vocations are available/open and where i might be posted to? I heard guards is full and they aren’t taking anyone for now what are the other units full and what units open in September after i pop?

Enlisted in May for PTP BMT in School 4, currently we are in our PTP phase half way done with PTP Phase, july will be the start of our official BMT could someone tell me what could i expect for the whole of july and also out of the 4 months i had in BMTC Tekong, july’s gna be the most shag cuz or field camp and other high keys right also after field camp can we assume August will be less intense as its the cool down period? Please advise more on this thank tou
