Guitar pedal for psyyyych
Had a set up going for ages, but clean slate these are your options. What sequence are you setting them up in for this genre ?

Made in my living room with a focusrite audio interface a guitar a bass a mic a synthesizer a mandolin a didgeridoo and an e drum kit and midi keyboard.
Would love to go deep into the rabbit hole with anyone interested in discussing the process of making it, any feedback, anything,
It was so much work and I learned a lot in the process and even though it’s far away from anything remotely perfect, if I can help explain something to anyone and save you some time figuring it out alone let me know!
Mine is Piper at the Gate of Dawn
I’d love to listen to everyone’s fresh or original posts more often but would love some kind of tool/bot/idk to grab them all and put them in a playlist I can listen to. Anyone figured out an efficient way to keep up with all the great posts?
Hey community
I am encouraged by the vibe of the posts and comments here so wanted to share my music directly.
It’s probably defined by the song itself having ADHD. Blending genres like psych pop with heavier grungy/stoner rock, some melodic Spanish vibes, but then also ignoring traditional song structures like verses and choruses and that and just flowing from one vibe to the next.
I struggle to find this kind of music and was encouraged to share mine after a group of people I’m learning to produce songs with liked it and said they’d never heard anything like it and that it’s like watching a movie in 3 minutes but in their heads.
Maybe it’s the kind of thing you all will enjoy and I’m also super keen on feedback
This is the first song off an album I’m trying to finish by mid summer.
Influences include Pink Floyd, Nirvana and Alice In Chains, late 60s psychedelic music, but then more modern versions like Tame Impala and MGMT.
I write record and mix and master every thing from my dining room with a 2-input focusrite and my guitar, bass, didgeridoo, a shure mic and an Alessis electronic drum kit and hours and hours on Logic.
Also let me know if you make music you think I’d like given all the above as I’m very keen on discovering all things weird and wonderful.

Or coolest. Or random.
I’ll start with MGMTs cover of Lucifer Sam.

Bee pitching my song to playlist curators via groover. Been helpful to get agnostic feedback on my track but the rejections are also a grounding of how my track is realistically being perceived beyond just friends and family and supportive redditors :)
Got one journalist to write a paragraph about my song and another curator didn’t add to their playlist but shared my song as an IG story so that’s definitely positive.
The rejections seems to mainly focus on genre mismatches as my song is definitely weird. But also some constructive feedback on the production quality.
How do you all keep motivated through rejection and hurdles?
