Trying to justify

I bought the AirPods Max 2 a few days ago. I already have AirPods Pro 3s that I use for the gym and work, and I picked up the Max mainly for home entertainment, work, and walks with my dog. The problem is that I keep reaching for my AirPods Pro every time because they’re just so convenient. I’m enjoying the Max, but given how expensive they were, I’ve been questioning whether they’re worth the money. Part of me is considering returning them since I haven’t been using them nearly as much as I expected. I’ve also noticed that the noise cancellation doesn’t seem nearly as good as many people claim. When no music is playing, I can still hear quite a bit of noise in my office

Upgraded from SE

Today I finally upgraded to the Apple Watch Ultra 3. I’ve had my SE since around 2020 to 2021, so this feels like a massive upgrade. Really loving the watch so far, although it’s honestly a little sad retiring my SE after it’s basically lived on my wrist for the past 5 years lol.

Definitely a huge step up in both features and battery life. Any must try features, settings, apps, or recommendations for getting the most out of the Ultra 3?

I’m 22 and this is my current setup:
Roth IRA: VOO 60% / AVUV 20% / VXUS 20% — $150/week
Taxable: VOO 45% / AVUV 15% / VXUS 15% / SMH 25% — $200/week
I’m about to deploy a $20K lump sum. Based on my allocations, it’d be roughly:
$8.8K VOO,$2.9K AVUV,$2.9K VXUS,$4.9K SMH
I feel completely fine with everything except the SMH piece. It’s had a strong run recently, and putting $5K into a single, high-beta sector ETF after it’s already moved like that just feels different than buying the index funds.
I’m not second-guessing the position itself, I plan to hold 10+ years and believe in the semiconductor space. Even after this, SMH would be about 14% of my total portfolio, which is still within my plan.
I think it’s more just a mental hurdle than anything ,pulling the trigger after a run.
Curious if anyone else has dealt with this. Did you just send it, or did you stage it over time?
