I’m watching this because I’m trying to improve my French and the language in period pieces is something my middle aged brain can comprehend. But wow this is a fabu show! The costumes, set design, actors, and camera work are gorgeous. It’s basically a prequel to Dangerous Liaisons, of which the best version is Milos Forman’s, fight me. Anyway, this is worth a watch and I wish there was a season 2!
