Success stories please 🙏

I have been on Duloxetine 60mg for 12 days, prior I was on 40mg for one week, 30mg the week before and 20mg the week before that so almost 5 weeks in total. I was also weaning off Escitalopram in the first 3 weeks. I am incredibly low/depressed and really struggling and would really appreciate any success stories of people who have gone through similar and come out the other side 🙏 it is starting to impact my relationship too which is causing increased anxiety, I would love for it to start working soon.

Feeling low - advice please 🙏

I was put on Lexapro earlier this year after coming off Cymbalta last October (and had intense anxiety coming off Cymbalta that I initially thought was withdrawals hence wanted to try something else). Lexapro didn’t work for me so I cross tapered to Cymbalta over a 4 week period by decreasing Lexapro by 5mg each week from 20mg and increasing Cymbalta from 20mg to 30, 40, before settling on 60mg. I’ve now been off Lexapro/on Duloxetine 60mg for one week (5 weeks total including cross-tapering) and I have just felt really low/apathetic for the past few weeks and I’m wondering if this is normal? Although I initially went on for anxiety, I now feel depressed and a bit hopeless that I won’t feel happy/normal. It’s been a very long and hard process as going on Lexapro gave me awful side effects of anxiety and depression so I feel I have some ptsd too. Do I need to wait longer for the Cymbalta to start working or do I need to go up in my dose? Has anyone else felt really low before the Cymbalta started working? I thought last time that it started working pretty quickly but maybe I am remembering incorrectly.

Night sweats

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with the night sweats? I’m waking up drenched in the middle of the night and my bed and myself smell of sweat every morning despite changing covers/showering before bed. I can’t bear it, please can you let me know what has worked for you or if this gets better? I’ve been on Cymbalta for 5 weeks. 🙏
