I’m open to taking out student loans if that’s my only way out but everyone online keeps saying debt is a trap and I’ll regret it. Is taking on loans worth it to get out of a bad living situation?
Hello guys, 20M here. I really wanna finish college still need to complete 1 more year but honestly I’m barely able to afford anything right now. My mom passed away and her insurance didn’t cover all the hospital bills so my dad had to take out loans to pay for everything. He’s also been in between jobs so he hasn’t really been able to help me much financially.
I work retail and pick up extra shifts whenever I can just to cover rent, tuition, gas and other basic stuff. I’m grateful he can still help with groceries but that’s pretty much it.
I just wanna focus on school and actually enjoy college but it feels like I’m always choosing between studying and working enough to get by. I’m honestly so tired. I don’t even know what else to say lol
How did you guys make it work? :((
