Chapel Cove in Pictou County, NS, Canada
Couldn't get a closer shot without scaring them away.
Found in late June, morning time and early afternoon. No sign of them in the evening time
Shallow water near the shore with a sandy base. Schools of around 40. Approx 3-4 inches long with a luminous green/yellow pec/pelvic fin.
No other distinguished features (lateral line etc.)
My guess is some form of minnow, likelyusedas bait. Be interested in seeing if they are commercially available. Would like to research and keep some of these cool looking guys
