I Need Help So I Can Stay in School

I am 13 years old, and I have been thinking about starting a side hustle to earn some money. One idea I have is collecting and selling copper as recyclable scrap metal because it can sometimes be worth a good amount. I know that selling scrap metal takes time and effort, but I think it could help me save money if I do it honestly and legally.

I have also been thinking about other ways to earn money that are appropriate for someone my age, such as collecting recyclable materials, washing cars, doing yard work, cleaning houses, helping neighbors with simple chores, delivering groceries for nearby people, or reselling items that I no longer need. My goal is to become more independent, learn useful skills, and save money for my future.

The reason I want to earn money is that I am worried about my future. I am afraid that my parents might abandon me or stop supporting my education, and I want to be prepared in case that happens. I hope that never becomes a reality, but having some savings would make me feel more secure and give me a better chance of continuing my education. I believe that working hard, making responsible choices, and saving money are important steps toward becoming independent while continuing to focus on school.

Palm reading is just reading people, not the future

Palm reading is fake. You aren't reading the lines on someone's hand, you're reading the person. That's why most of you can't do an actual palm reading online from just a picture. You need to see the person in real life so you can watch how they act, how they react, their body language, their facial expressions, and everything else. I forgot if it's called cold reading or hot reading, but that's basically what you're doing.

What really annoys me is that people actually spend money on this. You say a bunch of vague things that could apply to almost anyone, then people connect the dots themselves and think you predicted something. It's psychology, not magic.

And before anyone says I don't know what I'm talking about, my grandpa was a palm reader. When I was younger, I was amazed because he would say things that actually happened. Looking back, I don't think he had some supernatural gift. He was probably just really good at reading people and picking up on things most people don't notice. Since he knew me personally, he could probably read my behavior even better, which made it seem like he could predict the future.

I don't believe psychics or palm readers have special powers. I think they're either good at reading people or they're taking advantage of people who are desperate for answers. Stop charging people for fake readings and find an actual job or hobby.
