Might have been scammed

Hello everyone, this is our favorite girl in the world. Her name is duchess and she was sold to my parents as a toy poodle.
A little backstory: my sisters have always wanted a dog specifically a poodle and my mom’s coworkers introduced her to a cousin that knew a “respectable” breeder and could get her in contact with said breeder. I was at home at the time of this interaction but with the stories i heard later there were a lot of red flags. First the pictures that were sent did not ultimately match the dog my parents were given(they even called the breeder on FaceTime), when she was delivered she was extremely dirty and still had feces on her legs, and was extremely tiny that she had to be younger than when 8 weeks. She is now about 5 months and have grown into her features and i have gotten a lot of comments that she looks more like a Maltese than poodle. I ordered a wisdom panel kit for her this week just to get the full picture.
(Sidenote) for anyone saying why the purchase still went through even though we saw her when she was delivered the person delivering her could not communicate with my parents as he seemed like her only spoke Spanish and my parents already paid the full amount(which was definitely a red flag).
