I wish I could be this delusional
I mean… it’s crazy that she genuinely thinks she’s that important that she needs to tell people, “Just because I’m not posting doesn’t mean I had the baby.”
Like… who outside of her immediate family is sitting around keeping a countdown to this baby’s arrival? Who is checking her page thinking, “Hmm, she hasn’t posted today… I wonder if she had the baby”?
It’s just another level of ego to assume that people outside of her circle care that much. And honestly, the bigger question is: why does she even have such a huge ego that she thinks they do?
Looks like he speaking up. They have different takes!! Jake said he wasn’t asked back. David said he was.

What could have been done to fix it?
Let me start by saying: solid movie. I enjoyed the music, the new characters, and the overall film. I will say that, like others, by the end there was something left to be desired.
I feel like there wasn’t a lot of dialogue or communication between the characters. They did a lot of showing instead of telling to move the story along. Like many people have said, it felt just a bit rushed. I understand the story is supposed to pick up exactly where it left off, and not much time has passed, if any at all. I think that’s part of the issue. They used a song to explain everything that’s changed, but I would’ve much rather had ten minutes of interaction between the characters and their “new families.”
I also wish the new characters had been fleshed out more. I don’t mind having a lot of new characters, but if they’re only there for a couple of scenes and then written off for the sake of comedy, I feel like they could’ve been left out. Most of them barely had any dialogue, so I never really got attached to them.
I also feel like >!Chloe turning evil!< is another example of trying to shock or wow the audience. I understand why she feels close to Red—they literally saved her mom—but it’s only been a minute for her, and she’s expecting things to be the same because everyone else seems different. Red is different too, but she’s still a VK at heart. She still has all the memories of the life she lived before the timeline changed.
TL;DR: Solid movie with great music and fun new characters, but it felt rushed. I wish we’d gotten more dialogue, more interaction with the characters’ new lives, and better development for the new cast. Chloe’s scenes felt more like a twist for shock value than something that was fully earned.
