Is Bakery/Pastry Ausbildung in Germany worth it for an Indian applicant?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for honest advice from Germans and Indians living in Germany, especially those in the bakery and pastry industry.
I have a diploma in Eggless Patisserie, Bakery, and Entrepreneurship from SEP, Mumbai, and a little over two months of experience as a Commis III in a restaurant’s bakery and pastry section. I’m also pursuing my undergraduate degree through an online university.
I’m considering Germany for an Ausbildung in bakery or pastry to gain professional skills and build a long-term career abroad.
I’d like to know:
How realistic is it for someone with my background to get accepted?
Apart from German proficiency (B2), what are the main requirements?
Is the Ausbildung salary enough to cover living expenses?
What are the job prospects and working conditions after graduation?
