I started looking into getting a carplay system for my 2011 Flex, and was told that the dash kit required (Metra 99-5842) removes the heating/AC controls from the dashboard, replacing it with a touch-screen system.
Have any of you upgraded your flex and used this kit?
I am hesitant to move all of the controls, and risk losing functionality.
