How do you know that you're not about to waste months building something nobody wants?

This has probably been one of the hardest parts of building apps for me.

Coming up with an idea is easy but deciding if that idea deserves weeks, months or years of development is much harder which makes pain in the a\*\* if no one wants it.

I've been working on a small Android app around this problem. It searches for potential app ideas, helps validate your own ideas against audience/source signals, scores them and lets you keep a shortlist of the ones worth exploring.

The goal isn't really “AI gives you startup ideas.”

It's more like:

Don't start coding until you have some evidence that the problem is worth solving.

It's currently in the beta testing, and I'd love to put it in front of actual builders who would actually use it rather than generic beta testers.

If you build apps/SaaS:

What's the one thing you check before deciding an idea is worth building?

Happy to give beta access to anyone who genuinely wants to try the workflow.

How do you find testers for new app you built?

Hey guys, solo dev here and I just uploaded my first app to play store but I need 12 Testers to test it but idk how I can find them? I need your suggestions on what I could try. Its not a promotion but I built an app which will help people find viral app ideas easily without always searching. But doesn't know how to find testers or promote app as I don't really earn much with it to adsense. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you 🙏

Does resume improver app really works?

I have been tired finding and applying jobs everyday and at last I either don't get reply from jobs or my resume gets rejected. So I was just thinking that is it my resume problem on how it is formatted or not much ats friendly or something not customized? I haven't really used resume improver or resume maker websites because I just needed to know that do they really work or just gimmick?

It makes me sick looking at the amount of job openings has decreased over the years

And also at the same time unemployment has increased so but still no company wants to hire even if a person is professional.🥲
