Unmodded/unaltered 3ds xl I got in 2012. Everything works fine, it’s a bit slow these days but it functions.

I recently attempted to upgrade my console’s original 4gb sd card to a 64gb GameStop brand microsd. Everything seemed fine at first, I copied the contents from the old sd onto my desktop and from my desktop onto the new microsd.

Popped the new microsd into my 3ds and everything was normal except for the fact that none of my downloaded games were loading on the home menu. Things like ar games & face raiders were okay, but anything that I got from the eshop as a kid, like Pokemon games and whatnot were missing.

Went to the system storage, all those games were there. I attempted to delete one of these games but to no avail; it just came up as “Cannot delete” or something to that effect. I powered the 3ds off and put the og 4gb sd card back in and everything was normal.

Was this perhaps an issue with the microsd card I used or has something gone wrong?
