Is he supposed to be the actual de Rais, or is he just named after him?
The english translation smushes his names as Gilesderais but iirc, other translations separate it, implying that he is the actual Giles. I'm rather confused, especially since I believe St. Germain is the real deal, while Red Baron isn't the WWI pilot and just names himself after him.
