If you are researching full mouth reconstructions for severe decay or bone loss, you have likely seen ads promising "new teeth in a day." While that is possible for some, complex cases often require patience. Rushing titanium into compromised bone can lead to implant failure.

Here is a breakdown of a recent patient case where we chose a strategic, 3-phase approach over 8 months to guarantee a lifelong result.

📋 The Clinical Strategy

The patient presented with failing dentition, missing teeth, and localized bone deficiency. Our clinical team (Surgical Lead Özkan Özkaynak, D.D.S., Ph.D. and Restorative Lead Mehmet Fatih Özmen, D.D.S.) broke the treatment down into three distinct visits:

  • Phase 1: Clearance & Stabilization (Oct 2025) Before placing any titanium, we had to clear the active infections. We extracted 9 failing teeth, treated localized decay with 2 white fillings, and placed 8 Metal-Porcelain Dental Crowns on the upper jaw. This protected the remaining healthy teeth and stabilized the bite while the extraction sites healed.
  • Phase 2: Surgery & Bone Grafting (Jan 2026) Three months later, the bone was ready. We applied premium Straumann bone grafts to rebuild the jaw's volume and surgically placed 5 Neodent Dental Implants (3 upper, 2 lower) to act as permanent root replacements.
  • Phase 3: The Final Masterpiece (Jun 2026) After giving the dental implants five months to fully fuse with the bone (osseointegration), the patient returned for the final aesthetic phase. We permanently anchored 23 Zirconium Dental Crowns across both arches for maximum durability and a natural, bright finish. We also custom-fitted a Night Guard to protect the investment from grinding.

💰 Transparent Cost Breakdown (in GBP)

Because the treatment was split into three phases, the patient was naturally able to spread the cost out over eight months. Here is the exact breakdown:

  • Visit 1 (Extractions, Fillings & Initial Crowns): £1,856.30
  • Visit 2 (Bone Grafting & 5 Dental Implants): £2,415.85
  • Visit 3 (23 Zirconium Dental Crowns & Night Guard): £4,322.50
  • Total Investment: £8,594.65 (after discounts)

TL;DR: 9 extractions, bone grafting, 5 dental implants, and 23 zirconium dental crowns performed safely over an 8-month, 3-visit timeline for £8,594. Rebuilding a healthy, functional bite takes precise staging and clinical patience!

Natural Smile Makeover

Whether it’s from an accidental bite on something hard, years of stress-related grinding, or just natural wear and tear, micro-cracks and chips on your front teeth can completely alter your smile dynamic. It often leaves people constantly checking the mirror or trying to hide their teeth when they talk.

Look at how beautifully we restored balance and structural integrity to this smile!

The Challenge: The natural front teeth presented pronounced chipping, small structural fractures on the central incisors, and an uneven, jagged line along the biting edges.

The Beautiful Fix: We completely eliminated the worn, cracked textures and redesigned a seamless, perfectly symmetrical smile arc. By selecting our Natural Style in the highly favored 1M1 shade, we gave this client a pristine, ultra-fresh brightness. Because 1M1 preserves natural light-translucency, the teeth look remarkably strong, healthy, and authentic rather than artificial.

Rebuilding a Worn Smile

Years of severe teeth grinding (bruxism) can cause devastating wear to the natural dentition, essentially grinding the front teeth down to the dentin. Rebuilding a smile with this level of attrition requires both a complete restorative overhaul to restore the bite height and a robust implant foundation to replace unsalvageable teeth.

Who says you need years of braces to fix severe crowding? 🦷✨

This is the power of "Instant Orthodontics." When our patient traveled to us from the UK, he was struggling with advanced crowding, an abnormal bite relationship, rotated upper teeth, and displaced canines.

Instead of traditional orthodontics, restorative lead Uğur Gültekinler, D.D.S. utilized a comprehensive Zirconium Smile Makeover to completely realign his bite and restore his aesthetic brilliance in just one visit! Here is how he achieved this flawless result:

🛠️ The Preparation: Dr. Gültekinler safely extracted 2 teeth to help alleviate crowding, treated minor decay with 2 white fillings, and prepared his natural arches for perfect alignment.

💎 The Transformation: He then designed and placed 28 Premium Zirconium Crowns/Veneers (14 upper, 14 lower) across his entire bite. This instantly corrected the overlapping and established a healthy, highly functional bite.

To ensure the smile looked seamlessly authentic, he chose a Softened Style shape in the 1M2 shade—a beautifully warm, bright white that looks exactly like perfect natural enamel.

Case Details & Cost:

🔹 Diagnosis: Advanced Crowding & Malocclusion

🔹 Dentist: Uğur Gültekinler, D.D.S.

🔹 Restorations: 28 Zirconium Porcelain Crowns/Veneers

🔹 Additional: Extractions, Fillings & Night Guard

🔹 Aesthetics: 1M2 / Softened Style

🔹 Total Investment: £4,913.69

Case Study: Underbite Correction

W.T. flew in from the United Kingdom in April 2026. He had severe decay across multiple teeth, active infection requiring root canal treatment, and a noticeable underbite — where his lower teeth sat edge to edge or slightly in front of his upper teeth rather than behind them.

This type of malocclusion is not just a cosmetic issue. Left untreated it causes accelerated wear on the teeth, jaw strain and long term bite problems. His primary concern when he arrived was the pain. Everything else came second.

Phase 1 — Treating the source of the pain

Before anything cosmetic could happen we had to deal with what was causing him discomfort. Our clinical team performed:

7 root canal treatments on the lower jaw to save severely infected teeth and eliminate the infection entirely.

8 white fillings — 6 in the upper jaw and 2 in the lower — to treat active cavities and restore the health of the underlying tooth structure.

1 extraction on a lower tooth that was too far gone to save.

This phase is the unglamorous part of dental rehabilitation that most before/after photos skip over entirely. It is also the most important. There is no point placing beautiful restorations on a foundation that is still diseased.

Phase 2 — Correcting the underbite with zirconium crowns

Once the foundation was clean and stable, our lead smile designer DDS Uğur Gültekinler — who has over two decades of experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry — designed a full arch reconstruction to correct W.T.'s bite.

Rather than years of orthodontic treatment or jaw surgery, we used restorative dentistry to achieve the correction. We placed 12 zirconium porcelain crowns on the upper jaw and 12 on the lower jaw — 24 in total. By carefully designing the shape, angle and position of each crown, we were able to bring the upper teeth forward and establish a proper, healthy bite alignment.

W.T. chose a natural style shape to keep things looking authentic to his face and selected shade 1M1 — a bright, clean white that still looks completely natural in person.

Because his jaw muscles needed time to adapt to the newly corrected bite position, we also provided a custom night guard to protect the zirconium crowns from any grinding during the adjustment period.

The full cost breakdown

We publish exact pricing on every case study because we think it is the most useful thing we can do for people researching treatment. Here is the itemised cost for W.T.'s treatment in British pounds.

Upper jaw: 12 zirconium porcelain crowns: £2,340 6 white fillings: £414 Night guard: £65 Upper jaw total: £2,819

Lower jaw: 12 zirconium porcelain crowns: £2,340 7 root canal treatments: £483 2 white fillings: £138 1 extraction: £42 Lower jaw total: £3,003

Gross total before discounts: £5,822 Combined discounts applied: -£844.19

Total investment: £4,977.81

A full mouth rehabilitation including 7 root canals, 8 fillings, 1 extraction, underbite correction and 24 zirconium crowns — for under £5,000.

What W.T. said

W.T. left a video review which you can watch on our website. He specifically mentioned the seamless airport transfers, the communication from his dentist who kept him informed throughout every step, and the fact that there was plenty to do and eat in Antalya while the clinical work was being done over multiple appointments.

Most importantly — he arrived in pain and left entirely pain-free with a corrected bite and a brand new smile.

Why we share these case studies

We think real numbers and real clinical details are more valuable to people making this decision than marketing language. W.T.'s case shows what is possible when a full rehabilitation is planned properly — treating the problems first, then building the smile on a solid foundation.

If you have a similar situation — pain, bite issues, or a combination of functional and cosmetic concerns — feel free to ask us anything in the comments or reach out directly.

How We Rebuilt a Full Smile After Advanced Periodontal Disease — All-on-6 Implant Case Study

We know how difficult it is to step for that kind of dental treatment journey. Of course, we have asked our patient to extract all her teeth and visit us to make things easier but she told us that she wants to start all dental her dental treatment journey in Turkey.

All of her teeth were nearly falling out because of periodontal disease. We have planned a 3-phase journey as always with patience and care.

Case Study: Steve overcame severe dental phobia and got a full mouth of implants in just 2 visits — here's exactly what it cost

We wanted to share a real patient story with this community because we think it is the most honest thing we can do. No stock photos, no vague promises — just a real person, a real treatment plan and a real price breakdown.

---

Who is Steve?

Stephen O. is a Scotsman living in Ireland. He came to us in August 2025 with what is clinically called terminal dentition — nearly every tooth was broken down to the gum line or severely decayed. He could not chew properly. He hid his smile. And he was, by his own words, terrified of the dentist.

Dental phobia is real and it stops people from getting treatment they desperately need for years, sometimes decades. By the time patients like Steve finally come to us the damage is severe — but it is never too late to fix it.

---

What we did

Steve needed a complete restart. We planned everything around two visits so he would not have to keep travelling back and forth, which is one of the biggest barriers for patients with dental anxiety.

Visit 1 — August 2025 — The surgical phase

We removed 12 failing teeth and placed 12 Neodent implants — 6 in the upper jaw and 6 in the lower jaw. Neodent is part of the Straumann Group, one of the most respected implant manufacturers in the world. Steve also received a small bone graft in the lower jaw to ensure stability, and temporary dentures so he was never without teeth for a single day.

His words after the surgery: the staff couldn't have been nicer.

Visit 2 — December 2025 — The restoration phase

Four months later Steve came back — and this time he was happy to come, not terrified. His implants had fully integrated. We fitted 24 metal porcelain crowns in a natural 1M2 shade, designed to look sophisticated and age-appropriate rather than artificial.

His words after seeing the result: delighted.

---

The full cost breakdown

We believe in complete transparency on pricing so here is the exact itemised cost for Steve's treatment.

Visit 1 — Surgical Phase:
Upper jaw All-on-6 with Neodent implants, temporary denture and extractions: €3,460
Lower jaw All-on-6 with Neodent implants, temporary denture, extractions and bone graft: €3,395
Total Visit 1: €6,056.30

Visit 2 — Restoration Phase:
24 metal porcelain crowns (upper and lower): €3,394.24

Total investment: €9,450.54

For context, Steve said himself it was roughly half the price of what the same treatment would cost in Ireland or the UK.

---

What made this work for someone with dental phobia

Two visits. That was the key. By combining the extractions and implant placement into a single surgical trip we eliminated the need for Steve to keep coming back for separate procedures. For someone who had avoided dentists for years the idea of one surgical visit followed by one restoration visit four months later was manageable. Multiple trips would not have been.

Every step was explained to him before we started. He knew exactly what was happening and why. That is not optional for us — it is how we work with every patient.

---

The implants

Steve received Neodent implants which are manufactured by the Straumann Group — the same group behind the Straumann brand that many consider the gold standard in implantology. Every patient who receives implants at our clinic gets an official implant passport documenting the exact brand, model and batch number of what was placed. Steve has his. If anything ever needs attention anywhere in the world, any implantologist can look up exactly what is in his jaw.

---

We share these case studies because we think real numbers and real stories are more useful to people researching dental treatment than any award or marketing claim. If you have questions about Steve's case or your own situation feel free to ask in the comments.
