Archimago casual deck

Archimago casual deck

I have started playing Sorcery recently and after a couple of matches with preconstructed decks i have decided to create my own decks.

First attempts were mono water waveshaper control, mono fire persecutor aggro and air/earth necromancer undead decks.

But I really love spells. A lot of them. And finally I decided to give Archimago a go. I don't have earthquake sadly. And in the end there are a lot more minions than I would like. But it's the first approach.

I was so glad that I even added decklist.

Yeah, I have foil the immortal Throne and I really want to make it work.

I play only with friends, so probably going to test deck soon against my other decks.

Please share opinion on how to make the deck more fun to play and which spells I missed.

Rules clarification: Yog-Sothoth

Yog-Sothoth occupies all location simultaneously.

If i use spell or ability which damages multiples location at once does it damage Yog-Sothoth multiple times?

For example: Lava flow.

Or if i sacrifice Vesuvius to deal damage to each unit on nearby sites. How much damage Yog-Sothoth gets?

My current interpretation is that Yog-Sothoth gets damaged multiple times, but i couldn't clarify.

Edit: everyone thanks for your help. Rules for oversized units answered my questions.

Sell me on the Ironclad

Please!

I have opened Ironclad in my Gothic booster box and I wanted to create a deck with him. But I haven't found a lot of synergies in cards.

I can add a couple of makeshifts barricades to the deck and maybe some control but I don't understand in what type of decks Ironclad is good.

Losing life doesn't work with his ability so Demons are probably not the way to go.

If it's a slow deck with good survival then what does it survive for? Where is the pay off?

I would like to hear your thoughts and get inspired by Ironclad as an Avatar.

First opened packs

I have got The Immortal Throne, foil. It looks insanely good. Now I want to try to make deck with it(seems impossible).

My beta precons and gothic precons are finally arrived. I am going to play this weekend. Very happy.

Also I got foil root spider, immediately want to make deck with them as well. I love this game even before it's played. Art is stunning, cards are compelling.

Just wanted to share.

I have not played the game yet. Waiting for precons to arrive. But i have watched games on youtube in order to learn the game while waiting.

So my question is: how often it's possible to win the game from behind?

I would define behind something like: you are on lower health than your opponent and they have two minions, while you have zero.

Is it possible to win from Death Door against opponent who has health and better board than you?

Interesting to hear your experience and your stories about games you have played.
