Unsubbed from an outfit/fashion page
I can accept being banned for breaking a subreddit rule I didn’t read. That’s on me.
What I can’t accept is being told that I don’t respect women and see them as sex objects purely because of activity elsewhere on Reddit.
I made a respectful comment. I made a respectful appeal after the automod informed me I had been banned. Rather than addressing either, the moderators made assumptions about my character, declared what my values are, and then muted me so I couldn’t respond.
The whole exchange reeks of self-righteous bullshit. Instead of engaging with what I actually said, they jumped straight to assigning motives, values, and beliefs to someone they’ve never met.
Then, after delivering their little sermon, they hit the mute button to make sure there could be no response. Apparently making accusations is easy when you don’t have to defend them. Fucking cowards.
