So we know that Marlboro dropped their name from Marlboro Team Penske " after 2006. But kept the colors till the end of 2009.
My question is did Marlboro still do any activation at the racetrack?
Or was this a shadow sponsorship.
I know the race was a snoozer, but I think as a whole the weekend was great. I'm not sure how it looked on TV, but my area (C3) was completely packed.
It was the best indycar weekend since I've been going in 2018. I'm surprised and not surprised by the amount of Pato O'Ward fans. I hope they keep coming back. I feel like whatever Mclaren and Pato are doing, please keep it up.
I brought other people with me. And they all had fun.
I know the Portland race is kind of derided, and I hope for less snoozers in the future, but don't give up on us!
And yes the sponsor is stupid.
