Why the lack of 10 inch MPX setups?

I’ve held the 8 inch before and found it to be comfortable but a little short. Why does nobody ever run the ~10 inch setup? It seems to be a decent length for maneuverability while still retaining the comfort of a longer setup.

For context I have a 16 inch MPX that I plan to SBR without intention of running suppressed. I am trying to decide between 8 inch and 10.5 inch barrel/handguard.

Kahles options

I’m between two Kahles optics for a Seekins SP10 in 6.5cm for long range shooting. Not PRS competition or hunting simply having fun hitting steel at distance, ideally out to 1000 yds with closer shots in the 200-500 range.

Kahles because I have benefits through my job, unfortunately I cannot switch to another manufacturer and get as good a deal.

I’m between the K540i and the K328i both with left hand windage and DLR. the price difference isn’t super significant with the 540 being the most expensive.

Which should I go with? Will I miss the 40x if I save money and go with the 328 and top out at 28x? Will I miss my lower 3.5x setting if I go with the 540? Is there a Kahles option I’m missing that I should know about?

Any advice would be appreciated!
