Building manager keeps turning off hot water supply with no notice, what can we do?

Morning r/shitrentals fam!

Had a frosty awakening this morning when I went to shower before work and found that our unit’s hot water had been turned off for the second time in two weeks. Building manager claims they turn off the hot water for the building because of “high wind and rain.” Tenants are not being notified of this either.

Screenshot is of managers explanation the first time it happened, but surely turning off the hot water with no notice to tenants is a breach?

Melbourne property if that adds any context.

Hi shitrentals community, fellow tenant here.

Came home today and noticed that the glass on our sliding door has cracked. Definitely hasn’t happened when one of us has been using the door, and would have noticed the crack immediately if it had happened before today.

Upon researching, everything points to thermal stress that’s caused a sudden crack. Landlord is arguing “they lived in the apartment for years and never had it happen to them.” And are hinting at billing us.

Crack is on the inside of the interior pane, can’t feel and cracks when running fingers over it.

Edit: seems like it could maybe be an attempted break in- but this on the 7th floor balcony with no external access. This is also not the door pane itself but the glass next to the door. Sorry! Should have mentioned!
