Older Ultra CDP

I bought one of these probably around 2002 and honestly never put more than a box of ball ammo through it before putting it in the safe. I’m wanting to reacquaint myself with it but wondering if people reached the point of trusting its reliability after breaking it in. If so what is the round count I should go for? I’ve read 200 rounds, some say 500 rounds.. I would like to use it for occasional concealed carry but you know I’ve read the boogeyman stories about this manufacturer. It is a beautiful piece though. Thanks!!

P30 variants - help me with my confusion

I’m new to HK products but I’ve started a small collection, including a very nice VP9 police trade in that just blew me away when I picked it up. Recently got a CC9, and now I want to get a P30 but I’m a little lost on the different models. I am left handled so I want something I can decock, release the slide, etc left handed. Also looking for a full size grip and 17 round capacity. DA/SA obviously, and not the longer barrel. Basically Glock 45 dimensions/ capacity.
Which model would that be?
Another question.. is the decocker on the back of the slide? Im having trouble figuring it out from the pictures online.
Thank you 🙏

Wedding gift idea

Budget is 50 dollars. I’m not sure they are into cooking at home much yet so I don’t want something too narrowly task-specific. I wish the Lodge enameled Dutch oven was still 60 dollars as I would spring for that, but they seem to be 100 now. Any other ideas? Thank you.

Smith and Wesson M&P 22 magnum feeding issues

Just picked one up and was cycling a magazine of CCI Maximag HP’s through just to see how it feeds and it seems to either fail to to pick up a new round (slide closes on an empty chamber) or a round nose dives against the front of the mag well and stops the slide from closing about half the time.
Mind you this is just hand cycling the slide here at the house and not actually firing a magazine, but it would seem that this issue will replicate itself in the field as well.
Is there a trick to loading the magazines, bad magazine or what do y’all think?
