AdBreak- ads not showing on Kindle 10th Gen Paperwhite (FW 5.18.1) before jailbreak — tried everything
Hey everyone, hoping someone here can help me figure out what's going wrong.
I successfully jailbroke my Kindle 10th Gen Basic on firmware 5.18.1 using AdBreak about 4 days ago and it's been working perfectly — ads show up on the lock screen before jailbreak no problem.
Now I'm trying to do the same with my Kindle 10th Gen Paperwhite on the exact same firmware (5.18.1). Both devices are registered to the same Amazon account. But the ads simply aren't appearing on the lock screen at all.
Here's everything I've tried so far:
- Factory reset and set up again
- Manual sync and waited over an hour
- Multiple restarts
- Deregistered and re-registered the device
Still nothing. I'm stumped because the setup is essentially identical to my Basic — same firmware, same account, same AdBreak version — and I can't figure out what I'm doing differently or what might be causing the issue on the Paperwhite specifically.
Has anyone run into this with the Paperwhite? Any ideas what I might be missing or doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated!
