OKAY LET ME TALK MY SHIT
so, we already know Draag and Danger Days takes place in the same universe
BL/ind and Draag are the same entity/are extremely connected
my guess is that after the killjoys get killed in the SING mv, BL/ind takes their bodies and turns them into cyborgs (there are robots fucking everywhere in battery city, so it makes sense)
anyways, due to motives not known to us now, BL/ind ships the killjoys off to their isolationist state to work as a propaganda machine imitating a famous band that died in mexico
this explains why TBP is able to come back despite one of the member's rotting skeleton being in the california desert, THEY NEVER MADE IT OUT OF THE FIRE!!!
this fact ties into why the band has to take the pills in the MOAT, the same pills we know exist in battery city to keep the population docile and compliant.
Draag cant afford them remembering their past lives of violence and rebellion
being Cyborgs also explains Gerards gradual decay and immortality, hes able to preform again and again despite being stabbed to "death" the show before because hes a cyborg!
oh another thing, THE MAGAZINES
Gerard always reads them with a strange perplexion like hes trying to remember something, someone on the inside is trying to make them remember who they are by dropping remnants of their pre-draag lives.
