Hello everyone, on a whim I decided to send a sing to SCS 46 that was not in my preselection. I will send Yianna Terzi - Karma instead, because it competed against Provinz - Pazifik in Odds and Ends, while both were my entries and now that u/Moonsea_01 sent Pazifik, I thought it would be fun to have them compete against each other once again. That said, I still really like all of my entries and they will not go to waste. I will send the winner of this edition to SCS 47.

After a voting period of four days, we have received 10 votes which will determine the 12 acts that will make it to round 2.

In order to keep the suspense up, I will not reveal the placements of 1st to 12th, but I will reveal further down how many points were scored on each placement.

Hello everybody and welcome to the first regular edition of SCS Idol.

A few weeks back I hosted it with only my own artists and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but hopefully this could also be something that you would enjoy partaking in :)

The concept is quite simple. You nominate an artist as a comment under this post, who you have either competed with in SCS or who was in one of your preselections. Then you send me a list of 7 songs of said artist that you want to compete with. Each Round, all participating artists are pitted against each other with one song and a few are eliminated every Round until one artist wins in a direct Battle against one other finalist as the artist with the „best“ overall discography.

The order in which you want to send the songs is up to you and also dynamic, you can ask me to change the order every new round. Giving Highlights for the songs is appreciated but optional.

I am excited to see who you are going to go for! :) In order to make this competition work, I reckon we need at least 10 participants, so you are welcome to nominate a Reserve artist in Addition to your first choice, and they will be used if we do not reach that number. Submission period will end 24 hours after we have at least 9 artists :)

We have reached 9 submissions at 22:50 on the 11th of May, so submissions will close on May 12th at the same time! I will send a submissions reminder roughly 6-8 hours before.
