Lily Forte has won SCS 56, which was hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Because of this, we will be going to West Coast Beach, Florida, USA for SCS 57. The contest will be hosted at The Banyan Live.

In any case, we've received 36 submissions for SCS 57. We will now decide which acts will qualify for the final via three semifinals! You can drag your 7 qualifiers from each semi in order and give them points this way and the 7 songs with the most points will qualify. We will vote with StrawPoll in the Semifinals and with ScoreWiz in the Grand Final. There will be 23 participants in the Grand Final consisting of 7 qualifiers from each semifinal and two auto-qualifiers.

#NEW RULE (applies to both countries):

3: Reserves

A: Each user is allowed to submit one reserve. Reserves have the same required connection to the country and limitations as regular entries

B: If a user submits one regular entry and one reserve, only one of the entries can be from a bubble artist (not described previously)

C: Regular entries are prioritized over reserves, so if a regular entry by the same artist as a reserve is submitted, the reserve will become ineligible. If that happens, the user who submitted the reserve will be allowed to submit a new reserve.

D: Reserves will be used unless the amount of total entries (sum of regular entries and reserves) exceeds twenty.

Welcome to the thirteenth edition of Eurovision Country Explorer where we submit songs from a different selected country each edition.

As chosen by u/GungTho, the winner of ECE Türkiye, we will be exploring France and Monaco this time this time. This means you are allowed (but not required) to submit for both countries (one regular entry and one reserve per country). The plan is to have separate voting for both countries in the same post, but if I get more entries than expected for Monaco, I will do them as separate posts.

#Special rules for Monaco:

Since Monaco is difficult to find songs for, I've decided to loosen some rules, which are specified below. France follows the standard rules.

Changes to rule 1:

A: Any artist who has at least one parent from the country or who have lived in the country for at least five years are eligible.

The rules for duos, collaborations and groups remain unchanged (written in the Rules section), but they only have to fulfill the changed clause A.

Exceptions for bubble artists:

non-Eurovision songs by French artists that have represented the country at Eurovision are eligible. This does not apply to non-winning national final artists.

Otherwise, the regular rules apply.

Here is a document with all eligible countries, I am willing to make changes there if enough people want me to. My hope is that if we make it through all countries, I'll host a contest with the winners from each country.

Submissions will close Wednesday 7/10/2026 at 06:00 UTC+2 and I'll try to have the voting post up 10-11 hours after that

Rules (open to change if desired):

1: Connection to the country:

A: a solo artist must have lived in the country for at least 5 years to be eligible

B: For collaborations between two artists, the main artist must fulfill A, they are not eligible if only the featured artist fulfills A.

C: Equal collaborations are considered duos, collaborations between three or more people are considered groups.

D: For duos, at least one of the members must fulfill A.

E: For groups, at least two members must fulfill A, if there are more than 8 simultaneous members in the group that minimum is increased to 4.

2: Song limitations:

A: Eurovision songs and national final songs from after 2024 or that have placed in the top three are not allowed, but the artists are, presuming rule 1 is fulfilled.

B: Songs that have won other fan contests on this subreddit are not eligible, but non-winning fan contest songs are allowed. I would still encourage you to submit songs that have not participated in other fan contests before.

C: Only one song by an artist can compete in any given edition, one regular entry and one reserve can be submitted per user

4: Country decision

The winner of an edition decides which country we will go to next. If the same person wins three or more times in a row, the privilege will go to the runner-up on the third win.
