No matter what I do my Dexcom falls off within 5 minutes. It WONT STICK 😭 I used the overlay they give you, and I even had a nurse put one in for me (she’s my sister in law lol) just to make sure it wasn’t a me issue, and it still came right out. I really don’t want to spend money I don’t have on the skin grips but is that my only option at this point? I did just request the patches from the dexcom app as well to see if those work better, but what else can I do or try? I prep the area, it’s clean, dry, and I use an alcohol pad.

Hi, I’m in California, in San Bernardino county. I got an application in the mail that was already pretty much prefilled out and they told me to finish it and send it in, so I’m like okay. I did that in May. I had my interview on June 11th. She said she would be sending out my card, and a sworn statement plus self employment papers. I got those June 15th and I mailed them out June 16th. (Going to the office about a mile from my house) they didn’t work the 19th, 20th, or 21st. On the morning of the 22nd I was told I was denied because I didn’t send it in “time”. I physically couldn’t have sent it any faster… I called my case worker and she never called me back so I called the number that is for all of San Bernardino (that’s what the office number is, of course.) I was on hold for over a hour before I got through to anyone. This was on the 23rd. The lady said it’s possible it got lost or something and she would add a note to my case and she was sending me the papers again and upload them online and then call back. I finally got the papers and I uploaded them online yesterday, June 29th. I called my case worker again, and nothing. No matter how many times I call her or leave a message, she won’t return it. I called the other line again, was on hold for almost 2 hours. The lady seemed very upset with my case worker and said she would personally email her and tell her she needs to open my case back up, and that I never should have been denied. She said she can see the papers I uploaded online but can also see the papers I mailed that have been in the system already, and that I never missed the deadline! She has no clue why they closed my case. My case also says it was denied on May 1st, which is impossible given I hadn’t even sent my application in, and my interview was in June. Has anyone been through this? Is there anything else I can do, or do I give it a couple days again and then try and get ahold of someone else?
