Despite Attempts, No MMO Has Managed to Kill WoW, and That Has to Change

I'm sorry, but what is this article? Is it that inconceivable to be fans of multiple games of the same genre? Why would another game have to kill another game to be successful?

I tried WoW and it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm much more invested into Elder Scrolls Online. But does that mean I want WoW to die? Absolutely not. The more successful a game is in a genre, I believe the more chances future games have to succeed, as nearly EVERY game that is developed is inspired by games that came before it. ESO wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't for WoW.

This culture of "game vs game" is just stupid. Play the games you like, and don't play the games you don't like. But don't wish for a new game to come around just to "kill" an already establish successful game.
