I never see people talk about this game, it was a surprisingly fun game that I sunk almost 50 hours Into.

I get the Irony of sitting comfortably in my living room while playing a survival game of a homeless person, don't get me wrong 😅.

It is different from any other survival game I have played though. Still you build a base, break into homes, steal, pickpocket, beg, dumpster dive, fight etc, while managing hunger, thirst, warmth. Getting warm clothes before winter hits was a big one for survival.

There is some weird side quest type stuff with Occultists if you choose that route too.

Become king of the homeless is the main goal of this game, doing it by year one is ideal as the year is pretty long and going on a second year would be many hours and a bit boring tbh, so I do think it was intended to aim for the achievement year one.

Anyone else tried this game?

Meet and greet this morning, that was set up yesterday.

Text I was on the way, knocked 3 times total spaced a couple minutes apart, twice with the door knocker, once with my knuckles. I could hear the TV on inside the apartment, though that doesn't necessarily mean they were home.

Annoyed they either forgot about the M&G or ghosted me on purpose out of anxiety or something.

Haven't heard their reason yet, if they do reply I am just going to ignore, not a good fit.

At least this is the first time this has happened to me in 4 years.

Im not new, i have been on rover 4+ years, Last couple days I keep getting messages not intended for me.

I know owners get asked "do want to alos contact other sitters in the area" but has something changed to where it has become even easier to misclick?

I know it is always great when you go to take a photo and you get that split second shot when they lick their nose/mouth, owners love it haha.

A frog and a toad to say hello to you!

Like many pet care providers I was busy with drop ins yesterday/weekend.

I had 13 drop ins for dogs, honestly wasn't bad, it was spaced out enough were I didn't feel rushed getting from one house to the next.

Here in Maryland, the heat wave has not been fun, so adjusted to the weather in how I care for the pets, honestly that is what made pet care mire unbearable than anything.

We had a big storm last night, I was out driving in it with 5 drop ins still to go, pelted with heavy rain and hail, it did feel pretty dangerous driving in it. Many trees had fallen over.

Combined with the fireworks, I had walked in to 2 of the houses with a lot of pee and poop with scared dogs, but happy to see me, and get some comfort.

Last drop in of the night 10pm, the whole neighborhood had a power outage. Cleaning up pee and poop armed with only my phone flashlight.

Storm had subsided mostly with only a light drizzle, a very sweet affectionate dog to cuddle in the warm, humid, house with a poop aroma wafting through the air lol.

On the way home, power lines had toppled on the highway, meaning I had to take a different route adding to my journey, half way home, I get a call from the owner, he has a lot of fish in the basement 🤯.

He was very nice, he didn't want to make it my problem, but I offered to go back, he explained he was batteries that can be turned on to provide oxygen to the fishtanks.

Went back, I hadn't been down in his basement, but honestly a pretty cool set up, like 6 big fish tanks with all sorts of fish.

Turned on the batteries for the fish headed home, got home like 11:30pm, now back it with my first drop in at 7am 😁.

The life of a pet are provider.

Oh, we had a nice chorus of frogs and toads with the fireworks after the storm too.

This southern toad and Eastern Spadefoot burrowing frog were having a 4th of July feast on a trail of ants by another clients garage 😋.
