So... I bought it

I finally decided to buy a new c64. Partly b/c I'll end up reviewing it on my yt channel and partly out of curiosity. bought that and the other new product which can work as a remote for the c64. both Starlight editions. If the keyboard flex is still an issue Ill report on that and 3d print the supports to keep the board from flexing.

Tutorials on setup

I've played around with Sychronet and now Enigma and I can get through the general setup, but I'm lost on how to customize the artwork. I've installed each vias ssh on a headless Ubuntu server and can telnet in but not sure what to do from there. Official documentation for Enigma seems confusing to me and I'm typically a visual learner. Are there any tutorials on anything past general setup for either?

Board Rev E ram upgrade

I have a trs80 color with a board number ending in "E." My friend and I went through the ram upgrade process with tested 4116 ram. Followed instructions and tested before clipping caps as machine should show 32k with ram swapped. Machine would not boot properly. Triple checked jumpers. Has anyone performed the ram upgrade on a rev E board who could guide me? Machine came to me showing 8k ram

Newest addition to the family

Trs-80 Color arrived yesterday. it looked like Ace Venture disguised as a UPS driver delivered it, however it was undamaged. Not a bad price for something that was sold as not working.

1981: How COMPUTER GRAPHICS Will Change the World | Horizon | Retro Tech | BBC Archive

I was 2 when this documentary came out. Watching digital artists creating 3D moving images way back then blows my mind.

Newest member of the family

Bought a replacement motherboard and my friend gave me this Pet 2001. I had to tear down the keyboard and clean each key, plunger and the data ports on the back. Works great with the SD2PEt

Was throwing out an old PC and saw this in the ewaste bin. Charger sitting right next to it. Got it home, popped some batteries in and it fired right up. Not a thing wrong with it from what I've seen. I've tried using my esp32 zimodem and it doesn't seem to connect like on my model 100 but commands work otherwise and this thing is almost spotless

I was gifted this model 4p and while it looks cool sitting on a shelf I'd like to get it to work. Buddy is a local enthusiast and runs a retro repair business he went through this machine and say //edit h thinks the Pal chips (if I understand correctly) are bad. I would love information on what I can do to revive this so that it is working.// Long story short is, this is all it does on power up. With disk inserted it only briefly lights up disk drive. Period and reset seem to make a couple of the letters jump on the screen but that is all.
