MEFP Zaan on the course today

Managed to score this from the drop this morning, I’m local to Monkey Edge in Mesa, AZ, so it was nice to finally get one of these in hand! Drop point with the glass blast.

Hi Swappers, have a nicely modified CRK Zaan for sale today. S45VN blade, 2021 manufacture date (have the reissue card and box), and the following modifications. Vapor hone finish on the scales from Valley Blade Works, matching vapor hone finish on some titanium thumb studs from Patriot Knife Mods, and a J2H V3 backspacer (currently not installed). 2nd owner, the first owner and I have both cut and carried it. No snails on the new handle finish and a clean blade. The previous owner put a nice mirrored edge on it, and it’s shaving sharp. Rock solid lockup, centered, and very smooth/free action. Really a great example, but I prefer my stock tanto over this one.

I am not looking to sell the J2H backspacer separately.

I’m at least the second owner, I have lightly carried and cut with it but there are no snails I can see. Mirrored edge that is very sharp, rock solid lock up, very smooth and free action. Looking for a quick sale on this one to fund another purchase. Strider SNG performance series, with flammed Ti scales and a CPM154 blade. Second owner, got it off the swap, light cut and carry by both of us. A very few small snails in the Ti finish, zero wear on the blade. Recently sent to Mike at Boston Bladeworx for sharpening, it’s 18 DPS and perfectly mirrored. Haven’t cut with the new edge. No blade play, lock rock, perfect centering, smooth action. Slight lock stick from time to time but it’s very minor. Great example overall.

I did disassemble to do washer polishing on this one and it turned out amazing, drop shut action with pressure taken off the lock bar and zero side to side play. Will come with box, birth card, microfiber cloth, and tools. $400 $375 OBO
