Small sebenza insingo glass blasted or zaan drop point glass blasted?
Small sebenza insingo glass blasted or zaan drop point glass blasted?
I couldn't understand why someone would pay so much for a knife until i put one in my pocket for a month. Now I'm thinking why should i need any other knife at all as far as carry goes. I mean I've held and sold hundreds of knives and this one silently just does it all right. I'm not sure what else could compare at this point. I wanted to hate on the sebenza for a while cause it didn't fit my idea of what the perfect knife was. Now i know why so many call this the prefect knife. Chris Reeve broke the mold when he designed the sebenza.
Got these beauties out today! This stockman is not gonna be coming out my pocket any time soon! 1979 47 case stockman in smooth green, 65-69’ Case Barlow in red sawcut bone, and Large Inkose LH with a hollow ground tanto S45 blade and tan micarta inlays.
You could say it escalated quickly…
31 drop point kicked it off and has been a daily driver for the last 3 months. Then I met Tim and Anne at BS Atl 2026 and got into the Inkosi then and the box elder Burl. Then the zaans just seem to fall in line. My wife wanted a 31 but hated how big mine was so she got hers Thursday.
A friends piece that was sent to me for a blade wax application.
I’d say the drop point small Seb nudges out the insingo slightly, but it’s at the mothership getting the polished blade swapped for a stonewash. I’ve carried and justified others over the years but what you carry most is usually what you prefer.
Just got this zaan from Thunderbird Gear today and it's awesome! It's my first glass blasted zaan and it's incredibly smooth out of the box, by far the best action on any of the zaans I had before. The sharpening job was very lackluster and borderline dull out of the box so I threw my own edge on it before it even made it into my pockets
Big Idea Design X CRK USA Bolt action pen and Large Sebenza 31
I’ve owned like 6 or 7 CRK’s, but this is the only current and it is a keeper. I do need them to make these in smalls though
