I know there’s a learning curve w opening CRK knives and I’ve been working to figure it out. It seems like I can’t find a comfortable hand position to open the knife without introducing significant friction to the action by touching the lock bar. My four fingers have to be curled pretty aggressively to keep me from touching the lockbar or the clip.
And advice ?
Would I have this same issue on a sebenza as the pocket clip isn’t on the lockbar ? Thanks !

I would like to tumble titanium scales to get a clean even finish. I’m assuming a vibratory tumbler would be the best bet, the scales are 5-6 inches in length what size should i get?
Also no clue where to start when it comes to media. What should I be looking into. Thanks in advance !!

Looking at ordering the Maryn w the dlc coating and have some questions on it if anyone has experience w dlc handled knives.
How’s the grip compared to raw ti? I know it’s designed to be somewhat self lubricating and I am wondering if that’s a con for the handles specifically.
Would the tolerances not be as good because the pivot area will also be coated with a porous material?
Can the material be removed relatively easily if I decide against keeping it ?

I want to modify knives and I think a small cnc would be the best bet but I would love your opinion.
My goal would be to cut very precise holes in hardened steel blades as well as cut speed channels in handles in steel and aluminum.
Any advice would be appreciated !
