What happened to all the user created courses? In 23 I could find local country clubs.

I was just amazed finding private courses in my city that were pretty good. Now I can't find anything like that? Were they forced to take them down?

Look to the skies

In one of Karass's first conversations w the demon they are discussing miracles. The demon says something abiut look to the skies, nobody looks to the skies anymore.

No idea what this means. But in some trashy YouTube videos some UFO freaks are saying they aren't aliens but demons. No idea if this is what Blatty was referring to because the miracle at Fatima was in the sky. Interesting. I doubt Blatty would throw that in there to take up space, pardon the pun

Been playing these since the 80s

I remember playing floppy disks of Hal something games ??? Once PtP was on PC I stopped playing everything else. Those play by mail leagues were the biggest PITA lol.

My freshman year in college I discovered One Nil shortly after found Championship Manager 93 I think ??? The GOAT. Nowadays Football Manager is just so much. Ive never got back into it. OOTP is ok. I always hoped for a great college basketball Sim but haven't found once since rhe DOS days.

Also off topic, has anyone found a rock band management game? Seems like a perfect industry for a management game.

Ronald Hunkeler (sp.)

Ive brought this up before in this sub so sorry for being redundant but after reading The Devil Came to St Louis which is a book about the famous possession that inspired The Exorcist, I was a little dismayed.

As an adult Ronald said he was never possessed just a very poorly behaved boy. He had a long career with NASA and never converted to Catholicism.

Of the people who witnessed the "possesion" and were still alive when the book was written, it was almost an even split between those that thought it was genuine and those that didn't.

The author did good research looking for other church approved cases and there were very very few. One in Iowa in the 1920s and some historic ones in Europe in the middle ages.

There was Annalise in Germany which is highly controversial with the priests being charged with manslaughter.

Anyway...does this really happen or like Karras says "we'll have to get her back to the 15th century "

Now on social media I see priests who claim to have performed dozens and dozens of exorcisms which were more like the fantastic events in the movies.

Very skeptical now. Would love hearing opinions.
