My Wife and I are going on a 4 week road trip this autumn following burning man.

We have rented a 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter, with bed, simple kitchen and a portapotty. We have 4 weeks from leaving burning man to we need to get the van back to Vegas.

Where would you go and why? We have some ideas of our own

1. Tahoe->HW1->Arizona->Utah->Vegas

2. Yellowstone -> Teton -> Colorado -> Vegas

We have been to LA, Yosemite, Zion and Grand Canyon before so we dont NEED to see these places, but dont mind :-)

Hi all. Just wanted to share my first experience with 5meo and hear some of you veterans take on it.

Intro: my journey into psychedelics started 8 years ago after I had a ‘psychedelic/emotional’ reaction to a pain treatment (botox) trying to relief chronic pain that I have been dealing with for 20 years. This experience showed me a deeper connection between the pain that I experience in my daily life and its connection to my rather unsafe childhood. Properly a sort of PTSD

I have experienced with various psychs since then, both with sharmans, sitters and my wife. I’ve have managed to reduce the pain quite a bit, but would still like it to improve. I’ve tried, aya, shrooms, lsd and mdma. And have felt that they have all done something good.

After reading about 5meo for
A couple of years i tried it out today, and was a bit surprised by the experience.

It came on really strong and in a matter of seconds I had no remembrance of my former self and was just ‘floating’. I smoked around 15 mg. It was intense, but not ‘blissful’ as I have heard many people describe it. I was shaking quite a bit and crying (my wife said). After 10 min i was thrown back in my body and started screaming and twisting around on the floor, with the realization that I had to go back into my body and all the pain that I experience in my daily life. I was a little surprised that it was rather easy for me to let go and ‘take off’, but coming back to my body was so tough and overwhelming.

I was surprised that it felt very much like ego death on other psychs and not special/non dual as I’ve heard so many people saying. To me it could just as well have been a high dose lsd trip with a very fast onset and erupt ending. I didn’t have any visuals, but I also rarely have visuals on other psychs.

Is this a ‘normal’ experience and do people here believe that I have more to gain by doing it more times?
