The hypocrisy of the witch community

Am I the only one who sees that the New Orleans witches are the biggest hypocrites in the series? Ever since Season 1? Let's be honest.

Take Van Nguyen, for example: he accuses Davina of collaborating with vampires, yet he and the ancestors are collaborating with Lucien Castle.

Then there’s the failed Harvest ritual, Marcel Gérard’s takeover of New Orleans, and the arrival of the Originals... It all stemmed from the reckless decisions and deeply immoral actions of the witches' leadership; Camille O'Connell's brother is proof of that.

And yet, they criticize Davina for collaborating with vampires and betraying them—isn't that diabolically hypocritical of them?

To me, the witch community isn't much better than Marcel Gérard and the Mikaelsons. All they want is power, and it’s always been that way.

I already spoke about this a long time ago, but I’d like to revisit the topic to clarify a few points.
