Still feeling achey 3M PO?

Had my uterus and tubes taken out 9th of July (robotically assisted LAVH). Had nasty bouts of UTI during recovery as well as my first cyst ever as well as some heavy muscle spasms so it wasn't exactly easy lol. Currently managing to get some E back down there because I also dried out during recovery.

Hemmorhagic ovarian cyst is still there measuring at 2.5cm for the past 2 months since it was found. I really hope it goes down and vanishes soon.

Anyhow, I still tend to feel sore every other day or so, especially along the two lines running from the sides of my groin up to my incision on my stomach. Sometimes some crampy and tender feelings directly on my mons or a very small cramp in the musculature at the end of peeing. Urine is all clear according to doctors', so it's most likely just healing pains and feeling sore.

Has anyone else felt sore for so long after surgery? I'm starting to feel a bit broken and like this is my new normal even though there has been a very very veeeeery slow easing of symptoms. Just wondering whether there are other slow recoveries out there.

Bladder still acting up 6wpo?

I had a laparoscopic/robotic hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. 21FTM. A few weeks after surgery, I had a pretty heavy UTI I got antibiotics for. My only symptoms were burning after urination and persistent cramping.

I followed up with my gynecologist a week aftet finishing the course and she told me bacteria were all gone but I still had microhematuria. I also complained of burning and getting cramp-like tension and pain after finishing urination. I also can't hold a continuous stream (probably due to fear of cramps or the muscles not interacting accordingly). She gave me some medicinal herbs and D-mannose which at least got rid of the persistent burning.

However, I STILL have the cramps after urination and the feeling of pressure instead of the feeling of "I need to go pee". It's super frustrating and I want this feeling to stop. I'm going to follow up with my gynecologist tomorrow and perhaps ask for a referral to a urologist but I wanted to come here and ask if anyone else experienced this? I'm starting to feel like this will never stop and I'll have to live with this feeling now. I don't want to be scared to pee! :(

UTI and hemorrhagic cyst 4wpo? (he/him)

Had a total hysterectomy sparing both ovaries on the 9th of July. Recovery has been somewhat uneventful though I had some twinges on my right side. Yesterday evening I started developing pretty severe pelvic pain so I went to the ER this morning.

Cuff is looking good but apparently I have a pretty strong UTI and now, for the first time in my life, a hemorrhagic cyst! It's quite small, about 3cm and for now we'll just monitor everything.

I originally decided to keep my ovaries to have fallback hormones and because I never had a cyst in my life but now I can't help but feel like I should have taken the suckers out while we were at it. Nothing to be done, I guess. I hope it all resolves and the cyst just happened because I have been sloppy with taking my HRT. Anyone also suddenly had cysts after a hysterectomy?

Anyway, I'm off to taking my antibiotics and back to bed until the pain subsides.

Urine or discharge?

I'm 11DPO laporoscopic hysterectomy, both ovaries remaining, everything else taken out. Recovery has been going alright so far, some pain where I imagine the cuff now sits buth everything else has been fairly smooth.

For the past few days I've had some issues with more wetness on the insides of my labia and I can't really seem to identify whether it's urine or just discharge/wound exudate. The fluid is very thin and mostly odorless, at most it smells a bit like lactic acid. It dries a bit sticky and occasionally feels tacky while it's not dry yet.

I'm a bit paranoid that I'm having some bladder issues. I take a bit longer to void and it's in smaller increments though I feel like I'm getting most/all urine out. Should resolve itself during recovery though, I have a strong pelvic floor and once I can continue topical E in a few days, I should be able to remedy my usual atrophy symptoms again.

What I'm getting at: normal experience? and if it's exudate, is it normal to have it this early in recovery? My gyno told me I could expect discharge at around 3 weeks PO so it's a bit early.

Hysto Erfahrungsbericht (laufende Updates)

Bis auf Pinkeln und rosa Ausfluss danach as far as I can tell kein frisches Blut.
