Help me reimagine rental bathroom
My husband and I rent a charming apartment, but the bathroom doesn’t really match the rest of the place. This is largely thanks to the ole landlord special where they painted the original woodwork white. We’re planning on paying someone to strip and restain the window, backside of the door (painted white inside, outside face is original - see last pic), and probably the built in mirror.
While we are renters, we’ve been here a long time and plan to stick around. So we’re looking to paint, change hardware, replace the cabinet above the toilet, add better lighting, and get some new art in. We want to honor the original woodwork and we’re inspired by the 60s/midcentury/danish looks.
The floor is a cute black and white tile, which we like, but it’s been making it hard to decide what colors we’d want on the wall.
