Mixers Club now available in Firefox

Hello community!
Just wanted to announce that Mixers Club is now available for Firefox users!

Just go to the Firefox Add-ons store, search for Mixers Club and install as usual.

In my previous post you'll find more details about the project, a community to share recipes reviews integrated directly with cookidoo.

The community is still very small, so I strongly encourage you to join and share with others your experience, tips and tricks!

Just install it and browse Cookidoo as always. Let me know what you think!!!

I created Mixers Club, a chrome extension to bring the community together in Cookidoo

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you the idea of creating a chrome extension around Cookidoo to share reviews, improvements, warnings and comments in general. Simply bringing the community closer to each other in what we love.

I loved the response I received, and seeing we all would like to see the same kind of features, Mixers Club just came to life.

How the cookidoo website looks like with the extension installed.

I designed it to follow the style and flow of the cookidoo app, so it blends seamlessly with the app.

You can get the extension from the Official Chrome Extension Store.

What will you find if you install it?

  • Reviews for all the recipes from all of the cookidoo sites.
  • A new section in "For You", with what's trending in Mixers Club community.
  • Easily translate the reviews from other languages, so language is not a barrier anymore.
  • Share your knowledge with the community leaving a review.

If you want to leave your own review, you'll have to verify your email. This is a way of avoiding spam and keeping your reviews together.

  • For moderation purposes and sorting of the reviews, users can like/dislike each review.
  • Reviews classify for easy display under: improvements, variation, comment, warning, other.

If you are a coder and want to contribute or just curious, I've published the code as GPLv3 in github.

If you find any issue, please leave a report here.

Just install it and browse Cookidoo as always. Let me know what you think!!!
