What I mean by special outfit as in the outfit that you can only unlock after gathering a series of collectibles which is locked away somewhere such as the armour of Altair, Brutus, Thomas De Carnelion etc
As I said in the title I just finished the DLC and Korfu and really enjoyed seeing more of the isu and wanted to know what everyone’s thoughts are on the eagle bearer being an isu hybrid and unlocking more isu abilities as well as their role going forward within the series. (I know kassandra appears in Valhalla). Also one thing I would have liked to have seen and I feel could have been easily implemented after a slight bit of frustration at the end of the Korfu quest, I play Alexios and I know Kassandra is the canon choice and whatever but they gave us two protagonists so for the game purposes they need to double down on that and not invalidating a good portion of players choice.
At the end of the Korfu quest you see Alexios in Egypt and yet the very next cutscene which shows the Isle of Skye suddenly I’m Kassandra which for no thought of a better explanation was laziness on Ubi’s behalf as it’s a no dialogue cutscene and they already went out of there way to make separate cutscenes for the Egypt scene depending on your chosen character which has dialogue and as such wouldn’t have been as simple as just swapping a character model so why in the next non dialogue scene could they not have simply changed the character model to Alexios for those that were playing him for continuity’s sake for those playthroughs.
And that brings me to Valhalla aswell because they could have easily included both characters with the player just having to choose which one they wanna see when they start that dlc I mean dragon age brought back hawke from 2 and let you fully customise them so they can look like your character and that game came out years prior so for Isle of Skye they could have done that and people who wanna respect the cannon or who prefer Kassandra can be happy and those who prefer Alexios can see their character in the crossover too because although I have nothing against Kassandra the crossover doesn’t really excite me or make me wanna jump in to meet the eagle bearer as eivor because I didn’t play with that character and as such didn’t spend upwards of 80hours building an attachment to that character. They can have Kassandra as cannon all they want I don’t care about that but just give the players the choice to see their character in their games.
