Is a second set of road tires for gravel bike worth it? Which ones?

Is a second set of road tires for gravel bike worth it? Which ones?

I upgraded from an older Trek Domane road bike a Specialized Diverge carbon gravel bike with 45mm tires, that I love. It is perfect for city or shorter rides because the roads can be rough and ideally I would take it on more trails, just not a lot in the Baltimore area.

Is it worth getting a second set of wheels and road tires for longer rides with decent elevation gain on country roads? Only doing this once a week really for 25-40 miles but when riding with people they keep telling me that I should be on a road bike for those.

Wondering if it would actually make me noticeable faster or easier to keep up with the crew? And if so which ones would you recommend for that type of use?

Include a pic of the beautiful bike in its element.

Are my tomato plants too big?

First time trying any gardening and I have 5 tomato plants that I did not know about needing to prune until recently. I trimmed all of the bottoms and suckers but they are still much bigger than the videos or pics on see online for tomato plants.

Are they too big? Is there anything I should do now to improve them? Planted them 5 weeks ago when they were about 8 inches tall.

Included some pics of the bottom to see how many large stems ended up coming from the original main stem.

Bike Paths Near Glenwood Spings

I will be staying in Glenwood springs for a week and planning to rent a bike for a couple days to do some biking. Looking for two paths for different situations

  1. I want to road bike solo a bit to get a good work out and push the pace. I casually bike 20-30 miles once a week but willing to go longer. From research sounds like a bus to Aspen and then biking back on Rio Grande Trail might be best?

  2. A small group ride of various abilities. Maybe 5-8 of us. Thinking we would rent e bikes to allow more people to join and have it be more about the scenery and group rather than workout. Sounds like Glenwood Canton recreation path would be good for that?

Open to all and any ideas or suggestions. Have never rented a bike on a vacation before.
