Myo inositol and delayed ovulation

I usually have a 35–37-day cycle, but somehow I just can’t seem to ovulate this time - it’s cycle day 20 already and there’s still not even a hint of ovulation and BBT remained elevated like 36.57.

I’ve been taking myo-inositol for about a month now. It helped me A LOT mood-wise when I took it during the luteal phase but somehow it seems to be delaying ovulation. This is my first time taking it during the follicular phase and it feels a bit discouraging.

Even without inositol, the follicular phase has been rough for me lately. It tends to make me irritable and on edge in general and sometimes I just want to give up trying to make myself feel better.

Somehow my BBT is also higher than my usual follicular baseline. Could this have something to do with thyroid function maybe?

About magnesium

So I’ve been taking magnesium for a couple of years and for almost a year I was taking more than 360 mg a day. Last week, I suddenly decided to cut down because I started wondering whether that amount might be a bit too much for me, especially since I’m quite slim and weigh around 47 kg.
Since reducing it to 240 mg, or even 120 mg on some days, I’ve noticed that I actually sleep better. But here’s the catch: during the day, I feel almost too relaxed and sluggish. When I was taking 360 mg, I felt edgier, which had both good and bad sides. Now I find it easier to relax and sleep, but I don’t feel as driven or motivated.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that my libido has suddenly skyrocketed. I haven’t felt this excited in quite a while 😅 That’s definitely a good thing but at the same time I still feel a little too relaxed and lacking in energy during the day.

What do you think could be going on?
